A casualty is an injured person.
The number to dial for help is 999.
You can try opening there airway or by checking if they are breathing or responding.
You can use something like a cloth to stop the blood from coming out.

You can tap their shoulder or try and talk to them. You could also lay your head on their chest to see if they are breathing if not you need to open the airway.
How can we help when someone is bleeding severely?
You can get a shirt or towel or something like that and wrap it onto the injury then call 999 and ask for an ambulance.

    What is a casualty ?
A casualty is a type of injury or wound.
What number do you dial for help?
    You call 999.
How can we check if casualty is responding?
Lay your head on the person( a few inches away.) and if you can’t feel them breathing, their airway is blocked. To open the airway, put your index and middle finger under the chin and tilt their head backwards.
How can we help when someone is bleeding severely?
If it is a big cut, get a bandage and tell the person to hold it on the wound tightly. If you can’t find a bandage, find any type of cloth close to you( a t-shirt, scarf , tea towel, anything) and wrap it. Then push it against the blood wound to stop it from bleeding so much. After that, try and get help from an adult or call 999.
