My mother had a scoter from her sister in Sudan and I had a new one for me when I was young.

My mum’s favourite things to play with as a child was hopscotch, cat’s cradle and skipping rope games. She also liked the Tamagochi – feeding and growing her pet.

My favourit toy from the past was a big doll I got from my parents. It was bigger than me and had lots of hair. I carried the doll with me wherever I went. Unfortunately I had to let go of this doll during the war in Bosnia while we fled the country as I could not carry it with me.

My favourite toys when I was little were….
My care bear, I used to cuddle it in bed at night ❤️
My little pony. There were all different ponies that you could collect with long manes and tails that you could brush with a special brush that came with it.
Finders keepers snail – this was a bright, colourful snail with a big shell that came with a special key to open it with. Inside there was a keeper pet ! You could also keep secret things inside 😊

My favourite toy was my marbles I loved playing with them and seeing all the different colours and sizes they came in. With my marbles I was able to play alone with them aswell as sharing them with my friends and playing together, i also loved swaping them with my friends when I had doubles.

My second favourite toy was my pogs and slammers some of us adults may remember them.

All in all loved that these games as it always brought us all together ❤️

My wife’s favorite toy was called mini. Mini because it’s dress was below the knee.
It’s dress was pink matched with white spotty dots to give colour blend.

The nose of the toy was pointing out clearly for people to see.

It was cherished , loved most especially because, it had a button to press for light .
This could be even used when our room is dark. Aww what a lovely toy.

Fortunately, the toy has been kept since and passed it on to Maame AKOSUA GYAMFUAA AMANKWAA.
