    A fire glass
    2) What does Kensuke do with Michael’s fire-glass?

    fire glass
    2) What does Kensuke do with Michael’s fire-glass?
    Hurled it at a rock 🪨 below and it shattered to pieces

    3) Why does Michael feel like defying Kensuke?
    He crosses the line and swims

    4) How does anger help Michael make a plan to escape?

    5) How does tension build up in this chapter?
    Because at the end we don’t know if he survives

    6) How does Michael describe missing home?
    He missis his mother father and Peggy sue.

    7) How does this chapter show the passing of time?
    It shows the countless amount of time Michael tried escaping from the island

    8) Do you think the reader is supposed to like Kensuke?
    No not really because when Michael tries to go anywhere he gets shouted at by Kensuke.

    Because he said it is outrageous unfairness…
    4) How does anger help Michael make a plan to escape?
    He went over the line.
    5) How does tension build up in this chapter?
    Near the end of the chapter he said he felt the stinging pain in the back of his neck, then his back, and his arms aswell. A large translucent white jellyfish was floating right besides him as it’s tentacles groping after him then he was stung on the foot.
    6) How does Michael describe missing home?
    He said that he thought of his mother father and the Peggy sue and wondered where they were.
    7) How does this chapter show the passing of time?

    8) Do you think the reader is supposed to like Kensuke?
    I think the reader is supposed to dislike kensuke a bit but also like him for he gives Micheal supplies to live.
