    Death and Place – 1486 : Beja, Tunisia.

    Al-Qalaṣādī represented mathematical symbols using characters from the Arabic alphabet.
    For example, ﻭ (wa) means “and” for addition, (+)
    إلا (illa) means “less” for subtraction, (-)
    في (fi) lmeans “times” for multiplication (*) and
    على (ala) means “over” for division. (/)

    Leonardo Torres Quevedo

    Leonardo Torres Quevedo was born on the 28th of December 1852 in Besaya Vally, Spain. He died on the 18th of December 1936. He was a mathematician and had many other important jobs such as an inventor and engineer. He invented El Ajedrecista which was a chess playing machine. He also invented a couple other inventions.

    Francois Aragorn was born in 1786 and died at 1852 he was a French physicist and a astronomer in his lectures and writing he tried to popularise astronomy and support the view that life is common throughout the solar system. Arago was known not only for his own scientific findings, but for his influence on the work of others .

    Abraham bar Hiyya was a Spanish Jewish mathematician and astronomer. In the Hebrew of his time ‘Ha-Nasi’ meant ‘the leader’ but he is also known by the Latin name Savasorda which comes from his ‘job description’ showing that he held an official position in the administration in Barcelona.
    He wrote the first book to introduce Islamic algebra to Europe.

    Francois Arago was a famous mathematician he was born on 26 February 1786 in France ,Estagel he died at 2 October 1853 in France,Paris. He married Lucie Carrier-Besombes, his children name were Emmanuel Arago and Alfred Arago.His parent were François Bonaventure and Marie Arago, Francois had four brothers, he went to a municipal college of Perpignan. Arago had succeeded in preserving the records of his survey.

    Leonardo Torres y Quevedo

    He was born on the 28th December 1852 in Santa Cruz de Iguña in Spain and died on 18 December 1936 in Madrid. He made the Whirlpool Areo Car and second Wireless remote control. His designs of airships were used in WWI.

    Leonardo Torres was a Spanish civil engineer and was born on 1852 in Santa Cruz de Iguña.
    When he finished his civil engineering studies in 1876, he decided he would work in the field of science, technology, and invention because of his passion for mathematics. He died at the old age of 83 in 1936 from natural causes.

    What is a civil engineer?
    Civil Engineers are people who plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of building and infrastructure projects. These projects may include buildings, bridges, roads, tunnels and sewage systems.

    Learnado Torres Quvedo was born on 28 December 1852 and died on 18 December 1936. Learnados sun sigh is Capricorn and was born at Besya Valley Spain.
    Learnado was a Spanish civil engineer .

    He studied high school in Bilbao and later went to Paris to the college of the Christian brothers to complete studies for two years where he met French culture customs and language and that in later years it would help him with in his scientific technical relationships with personalities.

    Francios Arago was born on 1786 26th February in Estagel and he died on October 2, 1853 because Arago was advised by his physicians to try the effect of his native air but this did not work so he died.
    His sun sign is Pisces.
    François Arago discovered rotatory magnetism which is also called Arago’s rotations and he was also an astronomer, mathematician, physicist, politician, scientist and university teacher.
