Good afternoon,

Today, 5 Red had an Amazing day and got a chance to meet an author called Mark Lowery who has written a number of children’s books. Diyako wanted to share his experience with you. Diyako has said in his words with a high smile on his face… ‘ This is was the best day ever! ‘ The class got top tips for writing which the author shared. Diyako got a chance to share his own idea of a story with the author who thought it had a really, really, good opening! He bought a book written by the author with a signed autograph! Now, Diyako feels inspired to write a short story book of his own. … I can’t wait to read it! Did you get inspired today?

      It is about captain jammy and captain custard finds out that they is a master to help the custard team and the troops but will they win the fight of jam and custard we will find out when i am done and get pumped to hear about the whole story.

    Yes because when I wrote the first sentences they were so powerful I got inspired to write more and I wanted to know more
    I felt like I was in the book as I was writing the start of my book
    I felt like I was the character seeing the thick goopy jam dripping down the stairs
