Today Reception worked hard to create shape patterns using multi-link cubes following a pattern. The cubes are really tricky to put together so their fine motor skills and their muscles were really tested as well as their noticing skills.

What objects can you use at home to create patterns? You could use coloured cubes, small toys, buttons, keys, or even outdoor materials like pine cones, leaves or pebbles. Remember to send in a photo of your pattern!

I have used my toy cars to creat patterns.
I did all myself. I Used green, white, grey, yellow, black and red cars to creat a colourful one.
