1B What is Fiction and Non Fiction?

Today in English we learnt about fiction and non fiction.

Fiction is made up, you need to use your imagination when you are reading or writing it. Examples of Fiction books are stories and poems. For example

A Non fiction book is about FACTS – you can’t just make it up.

There are different types of non-fiction, eg newspapers, holiday brochures, books that are about REAL facts.

We went to the school library to see if we could find fiction and non fiction 📕 books. Can you tell me what you learnt today about Fiction and non fiction books? Which books do you like to read and why ?

    What a lovely blog Mrs Patel! I love to read fiction books. My favourite books are those where there is a crime to be solved!

      Adam said he learnt about fiction books was that the stories are not real they are made up. Non-Fiction books is not made up its real like newspaper.
      Adam said he likes fiction books because it tells lots of fun stories.
