The 2 facts I have learnt are the donkey rides have been popular since the Victorian times and fishes are caught in the nearby sea to make yummy fish and chips for when people visit the beach.
    Gold
The seasides are better now many people can come visit or stay at the beach, they can now travel by train, car a bus. There are so many things to do now such as the arcades, have different activities for people to join in when they visit or stay. There are many gifts shops for people to buy for their family/ friends.
In Victorian times the seaside were a lot cleaner as there were no litter on the beach as there were no packaged sweets or chrisps as the people back then had very little money
The things that have not changed from then and now is they still have donkey rides, people still enjoy eating ice creams and build sandcastles.
I have really enjoyed reading up about the Victorian seaside.
