Year 6 – Christmas Carols

Last Wednesday, Year 6 brought the Christmas spirit to the Lower Precinct. They raised an amazing £107.50 for the Cyrenians.

I am writing to thank you to you and the children who came to the centre to sing yesterday. Their carol singing was wonderful.  This was evident on the faces of the shoppers who stopped to listen.  The whole performance was extremely enjoyable and the pupil’s behaviour was impeccable.  They are a credit to your school.  I appreciate the amount of time and effort required by both staff and pupils in order to prepare for the event and thank you all for taking the time to perform at Lower Precinct.

    I enjoyed it because it was fun and exciting.
    I also liked the practice because it helped us know the parts of the song
    You can be a commentator because you have to present your voice when you speak.

    My favourite carol was jingle bells because it had the charisma in the song.I developed my acting skills because in the song the “the twelve days of Christmas “ I was the partridge in a pear tree.
    I enjoyed it a lot because it was fun and we raised a lot of money for charity.
    I loved the practise because without it we wouldn’t know anything.
    In every sport you need to have a performance because in the press conference you need to say and act to tell them what happened and what you could of improved.

    I am really happy that we raise a lot of money for charity!
    I enjoyed singing jingle bell jingle bell because it put I smile on my face.
    I was afraid at first when we were singing the first song but when we were singing the second song I gain confidence that I to myself that I wasn’t scared anymore.
    I really enjoyed it because I was fun and I saw my sister.
    I did enjoy the practice but it was boring when we carried on with it.
    Confidence practice and being proud of yourself.

    I didn’t like because of the walk but everything else was alright.
    I did enjoy the singing part but the walking part wasn’t nice.

    My favourite song was starry night and twelve day of Christmas because it’s more my type.🎶🎶🎵🎵

    Noor and Tipian enjoyed it because it was fun raising money for charity and the songs were absolutely amazing.

    We enjoyed the practise because it was fun to participate in singing.

    The carol that I enjoyed was Jingle Bells and I can not believe that we raised £107.50 pounds for charity that is unbelievable I was so happy . We developed how to sing I enjoyed it because I had a fabulous opportunity to raise money for Charity. I enjoyed it a bit because it was very hot in there but I did enjoy it cause we got to practise . Being a YouTuber , actor , comedian , musician and working in a museum .

    I loved starry night ,twelve days of Christmas and jingle bells.I developed confidence. I enjoyed the performance because it was fun . I enjoyed the practise because it was a nice experience to try something I’ve done before.The careers that you can do this is teaching ,footballers ,and acting

    Isah 6 white – I enjoyed the carols singing because we were practicing everyday and it was relly nice when parents came and watched us we raised money for charity which was relly good 👍
    And when everyone sang together it was so nice 👌 I relly enjoyed it it was fun 🤩

    I enjoyed starry night, jingle bells and Santa clause is coming to town since they were simple and sounded nice.

    We developed our performance skills.

    I enjoyed the practises since they were the reason we did so good.

    Performance can enhance jobs like YouTubers, movie actors, theatre actors, social media and more.

    I enjoyed the carols kind off because i don’t like singing but practising since last half term was good for the end outcome. I’m glad we raised a lot of money 👍

    I had developed confidence in this as I had played the role of 6 geese a laying which was funny for everyone and was also fun for me. I really enjoyed the carols as it made me happy especially the parts I got. Out of all the songs my favourite was the jingle bells or 12 days of Christmas because I had the role of 6 geese a laying that was really fun for me and for everyone there. From this you can get careers such as a musician or a footballer who like has to do interviews and more stuff even though they don’t want to. The practise was already fun.

    I have enjoyed going to town to sing the Christmas carols! My favourite song was Santa classe is coming to town because the beat was nice.I was really joyful to see people having smiles on their faces.

    My favourite song was starry night I loved the song and also I enjoyed the singing silent night I also loved when the audience clapped and smiled it made me feel happy to sing.

    Mine and Retaj favourite song was Santa clause is coming to town.
    The parts that we enjoyed were walking to town and singing.
    We practised for a very long time and enjoyed every second of it .
    It also took so much effort and energy to sing but we are happy we raised a good amount for the homeless people.

    Our favourite part of the sing was when everyone sang jingle bells joyfully and the people sang it so everyone in the audience could hear us .
    We enjoyed the performance because it was fun as we were making other people smile and making there day.

    Last Wednesday was a wonderful day! We all practised since the end of last half term and all of us really enjoyed the end outcome. My favourite song to sing was starry night as it was easier to sing than the rest of the songs. We raised £107.50 which was 40 more than last year!
    Well done year six and the staff that helped .

    It was true everyone did really 👍. My favourite was jingle bell as it was fast paced. It felt good to raise money.
