5 Blue – Warwickshire Wildlife Trust visit

Today, year 5 had a workshop about rivers from the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. We made a sewage soup with many items to see how rivers can easily be polluted. Children worked in groups to design and write slogans around drains to promote polluting rivers.

Which water can fish and otters live in?

What does contamination mean?

How long can it take for banana and orange peels to break down if dropped in the rivers?

How can you help the rivers from being polluted?
