Sublime Space Travel in 5 Blue!

Today as part of Science week, the children recapped their learning about the 1969 moon landings. They then built upon this knowledge by learning about Margaret Hamilton, a pioneering software engineer who programmed the on board computer systems of Apollo 11. The children then created some brilliant timelines, chartering space travel through the decades. In addition, the children completed a challenging Active Maths session today, which allowed them to showcase their knowledge of volume and capacity that they have learnt in Maths this term.

I really enjoyed making a poster with my partner about space. I also fancied estimating capacity in active maths.
