Year 2 Great Fire of London

This week, to begin our history topic of Famous People, we have learnt about The Great Fire of London in 1666. To help us understand, we had our very own ‘great fire’. Nobody was harmed in the making of this fire!

Mr Carter lit the fire whilst Mrs Penavega shared the story with us. Everybody was very excited and it really helped us to see how quickly the fire spread throughout the wooden houses which were built so close together.
