    2) The oldest stone tools date to around 3.3 million years ago .

    2.The Stone Age ended 5,000 years ago.
    3.The Stone Age is the first period of human history.
    4.The Stone Age was the first to create clothing.

    Stone Age 10 Facts

    🔸️700,000 years ago were the first people to arrive in Britian.
    🔹️ The first humans on earth lived in Africa and this was when the stone age started 4 million years ago.
    🔸️ When people discovered copper and bronze thats when the stone age ended around 4000 bc.
    🔹️People in the stone age used wolves to protect them from danger
    🔸️The stone age is split into three parts,  old stone age,  middle stone age and new stone age.
    🔹️Paint was made from charcoal coloured stones, plants and animal gums to paint the caves.
    🔸️The orkney Islands in Scotland are 5500 years old.
    🔹️Homo habilis was an early human to live around 2 millions years.
    🔸️ Homo sapiens were moderns humans that appeared 200,000 years ago
    🔹️The caves in France and Spain were painted on by our ancestors 30 thousand years ago.
