Year 4’s Wellbeing Day – 10.02.22

Today, Year 4 participated in a range of activities for our well-being day, using our school values and a range of Skills. Please take a look at Year 4’s wellbeing highlights below.

Golf

Team Games

The children worked hard today to play games with the parachute and balls. We developed skills like teamwork and sportsmanship.

Yoga

During our yoga sessions we discussed the health benefits of yoga, not just for our physical body but also our minds.

Local charity posters

We discussed the importance of charity and what we can do to help local charities. We created posters, emphasising the impact of charities in the UK and Coventry. The values we used were knowledge, empathy, teamwork, brilliance and kindness.

Active Maths

The children consolidated their learning on area of rectangles today by calculating the area of different sized rectangles. Mr M then challenged the children to find the area of an irregular shape, a challenge they took to with relish! Well done Year 4!
