Good morning. As the school is closed today, please complete today’s learning at home. You can do work on the blog or on paper if you have it at home.     salvador dali was born on the 11th May 1904.
    he was best known for his bizarre and surreal paintings. his most famous piece the persistence of memory was completed in august 1931.
    his parents were important to his becoming an artist because his father was a middle-class lawyer and his mum encouraged her son’s love for art.
    Salvador felt like it was the greatest blow he ever experienced in his life when his mum died in 1921.
    1922-1926
    he met Pablo Picasso who he worshipped
    he was influenced by Diego Velazquez
    in between 1934-1948 his life was extremely busy due to his featuring on the cover of the time’s magazine. He stayed in the US for this time period due to WW2
    on the morning of the 23rd of January 1989and, he died of heart failure at the age of 84.

    The mistake Amir has made was he did 5×5 which = 25 then he thought that was the denominator and 5 was the numerator . The actual answer would be 5\5 or 1 .
    Silver
    Never , for example 1\5 x 5 = 1 1\5 this does not equal 1 whole .
    Here is another example 1\2 x 2 = 1 1\2 .
    As you can see they are always ending with 1 and 1 \ the denominator .

      His mistake I he did 2/5 times 4 when it’s meant to be 5 times 1/5 times 2/5

    Salvador Dali was born in 11 th May 1904.
    He was best known for striking and bizarre images in his work .
    The Persistence of Memory is Salvador Dalis most surrealist paintings.
    His parents was important in him being an artist because his dad was strict and him mom made hi m to love art .
    Salvador Dali felt like it was the biggest blow in his life so this means he was devastated by him mom dying in 1921.
    The years he studied at Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando is four years .
    In 1926 Salvador Dali met Pablo Piccasso.
    The person who influenced Dali to draw flamboyant moustache is a Spanish painter called Diego Velazquez.
    His like between 1934 to 1948 was very busy and he stayed in US between that time because of world war 2 .
    He died in the morning of 32rd January 1989 because of hear failure .
